Peugeot Marseille Mixte Bicycle Before & After

I recently happened upon a matched pair of Men’s/Women’s Peugeot Marseille bicycles. I’ve refurbished a few Peugeots, and these are the nicest, most modern ones I’ve come across. Here’s the mixte:

I was curious if you knew more than I did about your Peugeot Marseille Mixte. I bought the women’s version today via craigslist. It looks identical to yours. It needs new tires for sure, and an overall clean up. Do you know what year this bike was made and about how much it is worth now? Any other info you have will be greatly appreciated!

It’s late 1980′s. The date code on my Shimano rear derailer indicates it was made in 1987. So the bike would likely be a 1987. It’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay. On Craigslist, maybe $100? Cleaned up in ride-able condition probably $150.

I own one of these that I bought in 1987, and I love it. A brought mine to the shop and asked what an equivalent new bike would go for and was told $750. I paid $150 just to have mine fixed with new tires, a new innertube, a new chain, and a tune up. I would gladly pay $150 for another one. I paid about $350 when I bought mine in 1987.

Hello, are you by any chance selling this bike?
